In Paris, nearly 10.000 tons of materials are disposed from roadway construction work. It represents an increasing cost for owners and contractors, but also recycling is a cost. On the other hand, the region is in strong need of granite being around 15.000 tons per year. Given the significant demand, the city of Paris has put in place a system to reuse highways construction granite. A platform dedicated to the storage and preparation of granite for reuse was installed in Bonneuil sur Marne, 15 km from the center of Paris, on a surface of 40.000 m². This platform is equipped with specific facilities for picking, sorting and cutting pavers and curbs.
