The Ex’tax Project is an independent foundation that strives towards a fundamental tax shift from labour to natural resource use. Ex'tax was the proposed by Eckart Wintzen (1939-2008) to bring tax on resources up and tax on labour down, creating a proper incentive to use abundant and recycled materials instead of scarce ones. Lower taxes on labour would make it more affordable to benefit from the abundance of capacities of people, boosting manpower, craftsmanship and creativity.
