Repurposing waste textiles for furniture

Bernardita Marambio B. Pecas' Fase#3 stool uses a new material, Demodé, that utilizes salvaged textiles from factories in Santiago, Chile. This new material uses natural and plastic waste and cotton mix from the textiles and is held together with a biodegradable starch-based adhesive. It maintains high structural strength after being sealed and can be applied in many disciplines beyond furniture.
